Messy but again, I'm starving... |
People with predefine time to wake up every morning tends to have reconcilable circadian rhythm in which every day, by hooks or by crooks, they will wake up almost at the same time even though they actually do not have any rush to do so. This biological clock is very much sought after when one need to be punctual and wake up early for what ever reason they have but not very helpful when they wish to spend another hour in the comfort of their bed.

Home made beef meatball as a side dish |
This is what happen to me today. I would appreciate it if I can linger in my bed for another hour or two as my schedule considerably free but since it is my custom to wake up before "Negaraku" is played from nearby school, literally, by force, I have to drag myself out of my bed. Lying in bed with your eyes wide open and your awareness at its peak won't help you to get additional sleep that you wish for. From there on, I have to keep myself occupy while waiting for afternoon nap which I never fail to have.

Extra deep fried prawn |
An early wake up means earlier you will feel hungry. This is so true that with grumbling stomach and figuratively starving, I decided to have fried vermicelli which took me less than 10 minutes from preparation to serving (single serving). Although it was ready before 8am, but since it was to early for a heavy breakfast, I had to postpone my breakfast until later in the morning and did my laundry and other house chore in between.
Breakfast with laze... why not?? Enjoying rare day off from usual hectic working schedules mean you can wake up at what time you wish to, whisks up breakfast that require less effort and the best part will be enjoying 10 minutes hearty breakfast while keep rooted in your bed. Luxury isn't it?
Even thought its day off for me, my usual circadian cycles won't let me dozed off past quarter in the morning. Woke up while breakfast serving time in our mess already beyond time few hour ago and lunch time crawling slowly, I can't afford to have grumbling and croaking stomach.... It is not a pleasant sound when you want to enjoy tranquility of rare treat of day off. With lazy eyes, I practically dragged my feet to prepare this fast and easy breakfast.
What I had early this day were potatoes salad, egg and sausage. Microwaving all things in one shot reducing the time taken for cooking. What more, it requiring less monitoring. In less than 10 minutes, voila... breakfast is served.
Okay... adios... you know what next won't you?

Tenderloin with potatoes wedges |
Everyone envy of having a nice, fanciful breakfast without steps out of their kitchen comfort. This is among the luxury that most people can't afford either due to time constrain or various other reasons that only oneself know. For me, everyday breakfast is a start of an adventure. Can call it daily routine except that every breakfasts were never the same. Why? Because my breakfasts were prepared pronto without recipe book. Today's breakfast was not an exception as once again, I come out with something extraordinary that will keep me full till dinner.
Morning breakfast that combines
- beef tenderloin marinated in black pepper, pan seared with black pepper sauce
- potatoes wedges, boiled and fried with coating of white pepper, butter and curry coating
- garnish includes chili sauce mixed with creme cheese and finely grated basil leaves
Saturday lunch kind of hearty one with this gracious serving of grilled black pepper chicken. Look yummy and believe me, it taste good.
So what are in the plate?
- chicken thigh
- broccoli
- sweet pea
- mushroom soup

Mushroom soup?? Another creamy treat that complimented grilled chicken well. Base ingredient was wild mushroom aka "kulat sawit"... yummy...
Went out early in the morning to scourge for it in oil palm estate..
The best part was gluttonously much all that till nothing left...
